A local Charleston business, Sôlt Wellness, recently opened in downtown Charleston with a complete tech package from Elevate. SONOS commercial audio system, Ring security, and TP-Link network. From concept planning to pre-wire to opening day, we were happy to partner with another small business in Charleston!

We were introduced to the business owner, Fiona, by our friends at FormVoid Architecture. We were able to plan out every aspect of her audio, network, and security systems, then run wire for each of those systems. We worked with the builder, electricians, and architect to make sure our devices and controls looked and worked perfectly with the rest of the systems in the facility.

We first focused on the audio system, which was the priority for Fiona's business. Her goal was to allow customers to choose between pre-selected background music, or use their phone for Bluetooth. We kept it simple, and delivered a 70V distributed audio system throughout the business with in-room volume controls and JBL Bluetooth speakers in each room. That way, customers can either turn up the volume on the background music, or just use the JBL speakers. The entire audio system is controlled via SONOS, so Fiona and her team can easily control the song selection from anywhere.

The centerpiece of the spa is the Salt Room, which has several chairs surrounded by Himalayan sea salt. To provide long-lasting audio to that room, we installed Sonance Extreme All-Weather speakers in the ceiling to withstand the unique salty conditions of that room.

After that, we installed a 12U network rack to house networking equipment, SONOS devices, amplifiers, and wires. Their network is delivered by a TP-Link Deco Wi-Fi 6E system using wired backhaul.

Finally, we installed a wireless Ring security system that uses many sensors spread throughout the business, plus several cameras to monitor all the main areas of the facility.

Overall, an absolute blast to work with Fiona and her team to deliver a great system for her gorgeous new facility. We always love working with local businesses owners in the Charleston area and this was no exception!
